Wonderful News Radio - WNFR - provides Michigan's Thumb and Southwestern Ontario with the best in inspirational music and programming. You can listen to us in the Blue Water Area at 90.7 FM.

The mission of Wonderful News Radio is to draw people into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Bible, the preaching of the Gospel, the ministry of Christian music, the promotion of the local church and to exert, as far as possible, a Christian moral influence in our communities.

The day will begin with a continental breakfast and an 8am Shot Gun Start and finish with a delicious lunch buffet. Along the way, you'll play 18 holes of golf, enjoy a beautiful private course and have the opportunity to win great prizes with the "closest to the pin", "closest to the line", and "hole in one" competitions and we might even throw in a surprise or two!

Cost: $85 per golfer/$340 per team (four players)
Mulligans available at $5 each (limit two per player)

Flower Sale
The Blue Water Garden Club is taking pre-orders for it's annual flower sale. The sale will be Thursday, May 8th from 12 noon-7 pm, Friday, May 9th from 9 am-5 pm and Saturday, May 10th from 9 at to 1 pm at 3033 West Village Lane in Port Huron.


 

Home School Support Group
The Algonac-Clay Branch Library invites Homeschool families to their Homeschool Support Group on Friday, May 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th at 10 am each week. Homeschool families can network with each other, share tips and have a time of social interaction. Registration is requested by calling the library at 810-794-4471. 10:00 AM


 

Raising the Dough
Dan Lundblad of Bridge Builders Counseling and Mentors will hold his annual "Raising the Dough" bake-a-thon on Friday, May 9th at the Immanual Lutheran Church in St Clair. You are welcome to stop in between 10 am and 2 pm to sample the homemade Swedish Cardamom. The church is located at the corner of Ninth and Vine Streets in St Clair. 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM


 

Lapsit Program
The Lapsit Program of the St Clair County Library System is designed for parents and children 3 and under to help them develop listening and social skills through the use of stories, fingerplays, songs and nursery rhymes. The Program will be at: the Algonac-Clay Library on May 15th at 9:30 am; the Port Huron Library on May 13th & 20th at 11 am and May 15th & 22nd at 9:30 am; the Ira Township Library on May 14th, 21st & 28th at 10:30 am; the Marine City Library on May 14th, 21st & 28th at 10:30 am; at the Marysville Library May 9th & 16th at 10 am; at the Memphis Library on May 12th, 19th & 26th at 4:30 pm; and at the Yale Branch on May 8th at 10 am. 10:00 AM


 

SONS Outreach Banquet
The annual SONS Outreach Center Banquet will be Friday, May 9th at Port Huron High School beginning at 5 pm. The evening will include a catered dinner in the High school cafeteria and theater performance of "The Son's Story" in the Performing Arts Center. In The Belly of the Whale
Grace United Church in Sarnia will present the musical "In The Belly of the Whale" a musical based on the story of Jonah on May 9th and 10th at 7:30 pm each evening and May 11th at 2 pm.
