 Wonderful News Radio - WNFR - provides Michigan's Thumb and Southwestern Ontario with the best in inspirational music and programming. You can listen to us in the Blue Water Area at 90.7 FM or right here on our website by clicking "Listen Now!" to the right.
The mission of Wonderful News Radio is to draw people into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through the teaching of the Bible, the preaching of the Gospel, the ministry of Christian music, the promotion of the local church and to exert, as far as possible, a Christian moral influence in our communities.
Wonderful News Radio and Power 88.3 are partnering with the St. Clair County Community Foundation again this year to help fill Back to School Backpacks for Families who have a need for help this year.
Our 2009 goal is to collect supplies for 180 backpacks. The Community Foundation provides the backpacks so here’s a list of what we need to fill them:
· #2 pencils (in 12 pencil packs)
· Blue or Black pens (in 10-21 pen packs)
· Packages of lined paper (college or wide ruled)
· Crayons (in 24 crayon packs)
· Washable Markers (in 8 marker packs)
· Spiral notebooks (college or wide ruled)
· Colored pencils (in 12 pencil packs)
Supplies can be dropped off through Friday, July 31, 2009 during our regular business hours, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm.

Lapsit
The Lapsit Program of the St Clair County Library System is designed for parents and children 3 and under to help them develop listening and social skills through the use of stories, fingerplays, songs and nursery rhymes. The Program will be at the: Marysvillle Library on July 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st and August 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th at 9:30 am; Memphis Library on July 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th and August 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th at 10 am; Port Huron Library on July 7th 14th, 21st & 28th and August 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th at 10 am; Yale Library on July 16th and August 20th at 10:30 am. 9:30 AM
